so what we are doing a project with sound. where we are going to record sound before we film the scenes actual scene.

Different settings of exposure

ISO + Aperture + shutter speed= 1

ISO

iso is measured for 100 to 64000 and also has auto as an option. THese are measured for sensitivity on the digital plate in the camera and is more sensitive to light. the higher the iso the more grainy the video. if iso charged a lot it will look different.

Aperture

 Aperture is measured in F stop. so the higher the number the more light the number the more light will be restricted . such as F 1.0 very little restriction . F 22. the light would be more restricted the aperture change the focus of the camera

Shutter speed

is a measurement of how quickly it take a frame. the shutter speed it within a second so he shutter speed  would be 1/30 of a second or 1/4000 of a second the faster the shutter speed the darker the picture

so we recorded a couple of scene that would go into the sound that we recorded

Lighting 

there are there basic point of lighting which can really affect the feeling of a certain shot within a movie.

• Key light- which will present the actor and can cause some effect as well in the scene. the key light will create a shadow which will create contrast on the actors face causing a dramatic effect to that scene.
• Fill light- which will break the contrast of the face of the actor by filling the shadowy side of the actor face with light giving it a more flatter feel.
• Back light- will push the actor away from the background so that it doesn't look as if the actor is blending in with the background.
• Background light- this light will irradiate the background/set and depending on the lighting will establish a low or high key mood

High key mood

this is the kind of background lighting that you want if you a more balanced lighting and would be more useful with sitcoms comedy ect. the contrast ratio would be for high key mood 1:1

low key mood 

this is the kind of background lighting that is more dramatic with a lot more contrast. this would be for more crime thrillers and horror. the contrast ratio for low key mood would be like 1:8

Today me and my group started on making a movie trailer

the genre of the movie is horror and appeals to teen and adults and will have a ambient dark soundtrack with a deppression style. appeals to more male audience.i called the movie within the trailer The Shadow

Many movie appeal to different types of audience. for example the movie inside out would have a different audience to the movie transformers. inside out would appeal to a more younger audience ranging from 6-10 yer of age but may also be targeted at a older audience such as the parent of the young children. this would be different to transformers which has a older range of people such as teenager which favour more action based movies is would appeal to me more male side. both movies would appeal to an urban area i wouldn't appeal to people more out in the country. the movie the crazies would appeal to a more older audience in mid 20s which would appeal to those who live in the country would would be working as farmers or live in a small town.

The crazies has a more country kind of accent to it due to them living in a small farm town mixed with some urban accent. the crazies genre horror and action due to the gore snd fight throught the film. The crazies has a dark feel to it. the style is more country.

Media Forms: This is different types of media such as film,TV,newspaper etc.

Institution: different types of companies within media such as channel 4 and the BBC

Genre: so like horror,comedy and romance are different types of genres so movies like The visit which is a horror /comedy or legend which is a thriller.

Representation: how something is presented such as like a group of people which could be stereotyped

Audience:this should be something like the age of the audience as a young audience is suitable to watch a mature movies.

Ideology:BBC ideology would be different to say E4. BBC is more about New around the world E4 is more entertainment based with sitcoms and celebrates News

Narration: is how a story is toldsuch as movie which would walk you through the movie.
